Cottages, gardens and green streets

The great asset of these cities is the garden. A kept yard with a lawn, low lights in the shrubs and a pergola is a ready stage — all it needs is a stable chair for the guest of honour and one speaker by the floor. Entering through the garden gate makes the surprise especially clean: no stairwell, no neighbours in an elevator, just a knock on the living-room door or an appearance from the greenery. And one detail worth gold, learned the wet way: check that the irrigation system is not scheduled for the evening — a sprinkler waking up at 22:00 mid-show is a story that is funny only afterwards.

Raanana: community, English, and double discretion

Raanana holds one of the largest English-speaking communities in the country, and evenings here are naturally bilingual. We have dancers who run the entire show in English — from the character to the jokes — and your chat with us can switch to English from the first message. Community has a flip side too: in a city where news travels fast, our discretion works overtime. An ordinary car, everyday clothes, zero outward signs — and a promise that always holds: no detail of your evening ever leaves us, to anyone.

The city that goes to bed early — and the clock that works here

These are family cities, and the streets fall quiet earlier than anywhere else we work. So our local clock runs an hour ahead of usual: the ideal entrance lands between 21:00 and 22:00, the loud part ends by 23:00, and after midnight only evenings in closed, secluded yards remain. That is not a limitation — it is a release: an evening that starts early ends while everyone still has energy, and the neighbours never knew anything happened.

Duplexes, roof terraces and the city centres

Apartment dwellers here usually mean a duplex with a roof terrace or a garden flat near the centre. A duplex roof terrace is an excellent format for up to twelve guests: an opening outside, the show in the upper-floor living room, and zero contact with the neighbours' stairwell. Garden flats bring back the cottage rule — enter through the garden, perform in the living room. One small terrace rule of its own: glass railings stay transparent at night, so the performance itself happens in the upper living room while the terrace serves the opening, the photos and the breath between songs.

Three real evenings in Kfar Saba and Raanana

A villa garden in Raanana, sixteen guests. The entrance — "a landscape architect measuring the garden for a project", tape reel and serious questions about the lawn. Two minutes of complete professionalism, then the music turned and the garden became a stage. An hour-long show under the pergola, just before the city fell asleep.

A cottage in Kfar Saba, a fortieth. Twenty guests in the living room. The entrance — "an insurance agent surveying the house for a policy", a long form and questions about smoke detectors; the birthday man answered earnestly until the moment the form dropped. Entrance at 21:30, a full show, a precise finish at 23:00.

A duplex roof terrace, a thirtieth. Ten friends, an opening outside with the green city below, a move to the living room, a solo with no character at all — just a beautiful entrance and the right music. Sometimes that is all it takes.

Arrival: up to fifty minutes by day, closer to thirty-five in the evening. Same-evening bookings work most weekdays; given these cities' early clock, the earlier in the day you write, the better the evening closes. Friday night through Saturday is Shabbat and the streets go properly quiet — we run as usual, with the discretion turned up a notch.

Four booking mistakes we see in the Sharon

Timing the entrance for midnight. This is not Tel Aviv — the beautiful entrances land by 22:00, and the late night belongs to secluded yards only. A garden with no light. A dark lawn is not a stage; three warm bulbs in the shrubs change everything. Forgetting the sprinklers. Check the irrigation timer — we saw it once, once was enough. Booking Thursday night for Thursday night. It sometimes works, but these cities close their weekends in advance — a day ahead opens the whole gallery.

Winter in the Sharon

Winter moves the gardens indoors — and the cottages here were built for it: big living rooms, wide dining corners, and often a closed pergola or heated winter garden that keeps hosting straight through the rain. The early clock suits the season: gather at seven, the show at half past nine, and by eleven everyone is by the fireplace. December through February here are calm and beautiful.

The rules

A stage act: a character, choreography, a crowd, focus on the guest of honour. Stage entertainment only — no intimate contact and no sexual services; ages 18 and over. Agreed in advance, smooth on the night.
