Every character is a grown woman in a grown-up world; otherwise we do not work.

Choosing a character by the crowd

The rule is simple: the character must make your crowd laugh, not us. A bachelor party of the boys? Uniforms and roles — the long act, the genuine confusion, the eruption when they understand. A mixed birthday? The singer or the waitress — entrances even the aunt enjoys, and the show does the rest. A company event? The office world — a "surprise audit" at an accountants' party is a joke that writes itself. An elegant evening, a fifty-plus milestone? Stage and glamour, or no character at all — as we explained on the solo page, sometimes a classic entrance beats any costume.

A character entrance: how it is built

A good costume entrance is a short play in three parts: the appearance — the character walks in with real props and a plausible reason to be there; the act — two or three minutes of entirely serious interaction, in which the crowd buys the story (or argues with it — even better); the twist — the music turns, and the room understands everything at once. That third moment is why we are all here — and we time it to the second. And where a city's procedures ask for a plain-clothes entrance and a change inside, the character is simply born within the apartment — nothing is lost.

A character of your own: bring the idea

Have an idea that is not on the list? Tell us — most requests turn out simple to realise: a character from a favourite film, the guest of honour's profession, the crew's inside joke. We check what it takes, say how long (two or three days for most characters, up to a week for special tailoring), and any addition closes in advance. A complex character with a whole script around it? That is already the VIP show — and there we build you the entire evening.

The props: the details that sell the story

The difference between a costume and a character is the props. The officer arrives with a real ticket pad and a working pen; the waitress — with a tray and a napkin over the arm; the manager — with a binder that opens, documents inside; the singer — with a microphone and a backing track that starts on the right second. The crowd does not believe the costume — it believes the details. That is why every character in our wardrobe comes with a full prop kit, and the performer knows how to use every item. The three serious minutes of the act rest exactly on that.

Seasons: the character in summer and winter

Winter carries a secret bonus: the coat. A character entering in a long coat over the costume gains an extra layer of surprise — the moment the coat drops is a twist of its own. In summer we work with light fabrics and airy editions of the same characters — the July officer feels great even in a yard with no air conditioning. The character does not change with the season; only the tailoring gets smarter.

Three questions — and you have a character

All we need in chat: Who is the crowd? The boys, mixed, family, office. Who is the man? Shy, performer or sceptic — as in the bachelor guide. Do you have an idea, or shall we suggest? Three answers, and within minutes you hold two or three fitting characters with our recommendation. The choice — always yours.

Three real costume evenings

"The tax audit", a company event in Givatayim. The strict manager entered with a binder mid-toasts and demanded "to see receipts". Three minutes of genuine panic from the CFO — then the music. No video, because no-photos, but there is an office legend.

Two officers, a loft in Rishon. The duo edition of the classic: a "noise complaint" in two voices, the groom received a "ticket", and a crowd of twenty-five discovered what a synchronised show with a story looks like.

"The astronaut", a birthday in Netanya. The birthday man — a sworn space enthusiast. We sewed a shimmering suit in a week, the entrance was "a landing", and the show opened with a mission-control announcement. The crowd still quotes it. A character that did not exist — until someone asked.
