In a thirty-person yard one dancer chases the crowd; two run it. They open from two axes, meet at the centre for the synchronised moments, and split again when the crowd spreads. The guest at the far end of the long table gets a full show exactly like the one next to the guest of honour. The technical demands are modest for the effect: a three-by-three floor, a clear meeting point at the centre, the same warm light as always. One good speaker suffices — our sound is edited for two in advance.

Two separate entrances: a full solo, and fifteen minutes later — another surprise arrival; pick it when the crowd is smaller but you want a long evening in two acts, and when the second surprise is the whole point. Real synchronisation does not happen by itself. Our pairs rehearse every new set together: shared counts, exact meeting points, crowd division drilled to automation. When you see two moving as a mirror image — hours of studio time stand behind it. That is why a random pairing of two excellent soloists still will not produce a real duo, and why we always offer an established pair first.

Costumes: the visual code of two

A duo speaks two dress languages. Full mirror: identical costumes — maximum synchronisation effect, the choice of halls and big events. Coordinated contrast: black and white, gold and silver, two characters from one world — visually richer, excellent for yards and long evenings where each also gets solo moments. Light and sound for two

A pleasant surprise: a duo does not demand a double production. One quality speaker suffices — the set is edited for two in advance, transitions and counts included. In lighting, one rule: two warm points instead of one, so both stage axes glow — two floor lamps at the floor's corners solve everything. The rest as always: ceiling off, TV off, the air conditioning two degrees lower, because two performers heat a room fast.

Three real duo evenings
